If you’d like to learn more about the new interpretive center proposed to be built at Westwood Hills Nature Center, plan to attend one of two information sessions, Feb. 22 or 28, 6-7:15 p.m.
City staff, parks and recreation advisory commission members and consultants will review the concept design and provide an overview of the public process that has informed the project to this point. BCWMC information will also be available. The BCWMC will install a storm water treatment project as part of the nature center reconstruction. Presentation starts at 6 p.m., followed by an opportunity to ask questions. It is a short walk uphill via a paved path from the parking lot to the nature center; please wear appropriate winter attire.
